1 ½ oz. Crystal Head Vodka
2 ½ oz. natural peach juice
¼ oz. basil simple syrup
fresh basil leaves
Pour all ingredients into a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well then strain into a cocktail glass.
Basil Simple Syrup:
Add equal parts sugar and water in a pot with 4-5 basil leaves. Bring to a boil ensuring not to scorch the sides. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool mixture before using. Syrup will last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
To release oils, slap basil leaf between hands, then float in cocktail
