Brian uses Crystal Head because as a vodka, neutrality is one of its characteristics. Often times vodkas lack character or texture: Crystal Head has both. In the day and age of "flavoured everything," Boykin thinks it's nice to utilize a brand that prides itself on no frills, but dynamic execution.
1.5 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
½ oz. Cocchi Americano
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Peychaud bitters

Mix all ingredients except celery soda in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled, then strain into a cocktail glass. Add a splash of celery soda.
