Pizza With Vodka Sauce

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

Pinch of red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 can whole peeled tomatoes

Kosher salt

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup vodka


How to make:

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook onions until soft. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 5 minutes. Stir in tomato paste, then add tomatoes and salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 12-18 minutes until thickened. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add Crystal Head Vodka, cook until smooth. Season with salt to taste. Once the sauce is cooked, puree in a blender.
